PROSTART 3.2.6

The PROSTART application is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Protraining 2 and 3 timing systems developed by Prostart, catering specifically to speed sports such as BMX and Track & Field. This application facilitates the automatic downloading of data from various originating systems, including BMX starting systems and E-Start for Track & Field, as well as from beam sensors. Coaches and athletes can efficiently view, compare, and archive detailed performance metrics throughout the sports season.

It is important to note that compatibility is limited to the Protraining 2 and 3 systems, and users must have a device running iOS 8 or higher. Additionally, only Prostart starting systems updated after November 1, 2015, can be operated through this application. • Connects to Protraining 2.0 wireless timing system via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0
• No Wi-Fi or cellular data connection is necessary
• Your device must support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.0)

Menu:

1. Calibration
   This feature enables users to measure the distance between two points, essential for setting sprint lengths. GPS must be activated on the device to utilize this tool, and distances can be saved for future reference during the session.
2. 2S Timing
   • Athletes Tab: Create, edit, and analyze individual athlete pages.
   • Groups Tab: Organize and manage lists of athletes.
   • Capture Tab:
     • Select "No Athlete" to designate an athlete or group for recording.
     • Tap the Bluetooth logo to connect your device to the Protraining 2.0 system.
     • Press the MANU button to initiate a start through your timing system.
     • Use the bidirectional arrow if one or more athletes are absent from a group.
     • Above name: Indicates the athlete's name during measurement.
     • Under name: Displays the name of the next athlete.
     • Landscape mode is available for improved viewing of running times.
   • Shares Tab: Export performance data in .xls format for enhanced management and analysis of measurements.
